Jeongseon Gangwon Land (CEO Lee Sam-gul) in Gangwon Province is attracting attention as it provides
services to improve the convenience of the socially underprivileged when using resort facilities
so that customers who have difficulty outside activities can enjoy them together.
First of all, when using High1 Water World, customers and companions who can prove the
disabled can enter the gate first after issuing a gate using a separate window for the
disabled without a separate waiting time.
The entrance gate also provides free wheelchair rental services for customers who have difficulty moving.
In addition, dedicated shower booths were provided to severely disabled people and guardians in
grades 1 to 3, and shower chairs were rented free of charge so that they could be used in a safer environment.
In addition, sign language broadcasts on how to use and safety rules are sent to the boarding gates of the
three attractions, including the ticket office and the Poseidon slide tower, to help the hearing
impaired learn how to board.
Kangwon Land will additionally consider introducing various services to improve convenience for the disabled
not only in High1 Water World but also throughout resort facilities.
"We have prepared a convenience improvement service so that customers who have
difficulty outside activities can spend their leisure time in a safe and pleasant environment,"
said Jeong Byung-sun, head of leisure sales at Kangwon Land. "We will continue to
make more efforts to improve the use environment of the socially disadvantaged,
so I hope you make good memories with your loved ones in the summer."
